Animate Photo AI Free: Prepare, Preview and Download
A useful first animation starts with a readable photo and one small movement. This page pairs a photo preparation checklist with the same no-account public demo used on our home page. It helps you decide whether your input is suitable before spending time in an upstream queue.
Try the photo animation workflow
Review the starting motion below, upload one image you may share publicly, and inspect the resulting video.
Leave this blank if you want the default safe motion prompt.
161/400No Videos Yet
Upload an image and run the flow. When the tested public Space finishes, your animated video will appear here.
Choose and prepare the source image
- Use one clear image with the entire subject visible. Cropped hands, missing ears and objects covering a face give the model less reliable information.
- Upload a PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP or GIF up to 10 MB. A still frame is the reference; uploading a GIF does not preserve its original animation.
- Choose a photo you are allowed to share publicly. The demo uploads it to temporary public storage before sending it to an external public Space.
What this starting prompt asks for
The starting prompt requests a slow camera push-in while keeping the subject mostly still. Change one instruction at a time. A smile, head turn and moving background in the same attempt make it harder to identify why a result failed.
Review the entire result before downloading
- Play the entire clip, then pause near the beginning, middle and end. Look for added objects, changing faces and sudden jumps.
- Check the actual downloaded video dimensions and duration. The public demo does not offer a guaranteed resolution, frame rate or duration selector.
- Keep the original still photo beside the result. A playable video is not evidence that every detail stayed correct.
What this workflow does not deliver
A queue error does not mean your photo was animated. Wait for a video result, and retry manually only after reading the error. This free public route is separate from the signed-in Veo3 tool, which uses credits.
Upload, wait, inspect and download
- Upload one permitted image. The free tool uses public storage and external public Hugging Face Spaces. Avoid private, sensitive or unreleased client images on this route.
- The motion field is prefilled for this page and remains editable. Submit once, then wait for the result or a visible error. Public GPU quotas, cold starts and queues can prevent completion.
- A playable file can still be almost motionless or unsuitable. Watch it from beginning to end and compare it against your original. Review the actual movement, faces, text and fine outlines before sharing.
- Use the download button when a result is ready. If your browser opens the video in another tab, use that player’s save option. The upstream output determines the actual dimensions, duration and format.
Free public queue and premium generation are separate
This embedded demo requires no account and does not spend site credits. Its capacity is controlled by the public upstream service. The premium Veo3 page requires sign-in and credits, and displays model and aspect-ratio controls. Opening that page does not submit a job. Review the price and settings before choosing a paid generation.

Do I need an account for this demo?
No. This embedded tool is the same public demo available on the home page. Public queues can be busy, paused or out of GPU quota; free access does not guarantee completion.
Where do I go for model and aspect-ratio controls?
Open the separate premium video generator. It requires sign-in and credits and exposes its own available controls. The pricing page explains plans and credit packs before you purchase.
