Animate a Picture AI Free, No Sign-Up
Upload, describe one motion, review the clip.
Most failed animations start with the wrong picture, not the wrong model. This page gives you a short, repeatable test: one image, one small motion, one honest review. No account and no credits are needed for the test.
No account
The demo opens without sign-up.
No credits
A free run does not touch a credit balance.
Download
Keep the clip when the queue finishes.

Try it with your own photo
Upload one image, keep the first motion small, and review the whole clip before downloading.
Leave this blank if you want the default safe motion prompt.
161/400No Videos Yet
Upload an image and run the flow. When the tested public Space finishes, your animated video will appear here.
How the free demo works
Upload one still image, optionally describe the motion, and start the job. The demo sends the file to temporary public storage and runs a tested public image-to-video model. The result appears in the same panel; download it when the queue finishes.
- 1Choose one clear photo: PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 10 MB.
- 2Describe one small movement, or leave the prompt empty for the default gentle motion.
- 3Wait for the result, play the whole clip, then download the video.
The three-step test
First, pick a photo with one clear subject and enough room around the edges. Second, ask for one physical movement: a blink, a head turn, drifting clouds or moving fabric. Third, watch the entire result and compare it with the original before you download.
If the test works, keep the same photo and change one variable. If it fails, change the photo before you change the prompt. A blurry face, a covered eye or a subject cut off at the frame edge will not be repaired by better wording.
- One subject, one movement, one result.
- Compare the first, middle and final frames.
- Keep the original image next to the clip while you review.
What makes a picture easy to animate
The model needs visible evidence for whatever it is asked to move. A face needs eyes and a mouth that are not hidden. A pet needs ears and a muzzle. A landscape needs water, clouds or foliage that can move without breaking the composition.
Text, logos, thin jewelry and overlapping hands are difficult. They often warp first. If those details matter, use a simpler motion or accept that the free demo is only a rough preview.
- Use even lighting and a face that is large enough to inspect.
- Avoid heavy filters that remove skin and fabric texture.
- Crop out distracting objects before uploading, not after.
Motion recipes you can paste
Start with one movement. Change one instruction at a time so you can tell what improved the result.
One blink
The subject blinks once naturally and smiles very slightly. Keep the head still, preserve the original face and lighting, and do not add new objects or people.
A small head turn
The subject turns their head a few degrees toward the camera. Keep the shoulder position and background fixed. Natural skin texture and soft light. No speech or hand movement.
Fabric in the wind
A gentle breeze moves the edges of the clothing and loose hair. The body stays still. Keep the original colors and fabric pattern. Slow, continuous motion without a scene cut.
Water and clouds
Water ripples softly and clouds drift slowly across the sky. Keep the horizon, buildings and foreground still. Subtle, realistic motion with no added people or boats.
Before you upload
The free demo is a public route. Your image goes to temporary public storage before it reaches the upstream model, so treat the upload as public. The signed-in generators are a separate route and require an account.
- Use only photos you have the right to share.
- Do not upload private family photos, IDs, or images of people who have not agreed.
- Keep the original file; the demo does not promise permanent storage.
What this page does not promise
Free access is best effort. Public GPU queues can be busy, paused, or out of quota, and a queue error is not a generated video.
- No guaranteed resolution, frame rate, or duration.
- No guarantee that a face, pet, or costume stays identical in every frame.
- No lip sync, accurate lettering, or editable project file.
- No refund of time spent waiting in a public queue.
Questions people ask before trying
Does this work on a phone?
Yes. The demo runs in a mobile browser. Choose a photo that is already on the phone and keep the tab open while the public queue works.
Which formats can I upload?
PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP and GIF up to 10 MB. A GIF is treated as a still reference; its original animation is not preserved.
Can I animate a screenshot?
You can try, but screenshots often contain text and flat UI edges that warp. A photo with clear depth and texture is a better first test.
Will the free result have a watermark?
The public demo returns the clip from the upstream Space. Check the downloaded file before publishing; watermark behavior is controlled upstream, not by this page.
Try one photo before you pay for anything
The demo costs no credits and needs no account. When you need model choice, a vertical frame, or an HD export, continue to the signed-in tools.
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Monthly plans are optional and can be cancelled from billing settings.
