Photo to Video AI Free
One photo in. One short clip out.
Photo to video is not a time machine. It is a short prediction built from one frame. That can be enough for a social post, a memorial slide or a product preview, as long as you choose the photo and the motion with that limit in mind.
No account
The demo opens without sign-up.
No credits
A free run does not touch a credit balance.
Download
Keep the clip when the queue finishes.

Try it with your own photo
Upload one image, keep the first motion small, and review the whole clip before downloading.
Leave this blank if you want the default safe motion prompt.
161/400No Videos Yet
Upload an image and run the flow. When the tested public Space finishes, your animated video will appear here.
How the free demo works
Upload one still image, optionally describe the motion, and start the job. The demo sends the file to temporary public storage and runs a tested public image-to-video model. The result appears in the same panel; download it when the queue finishes.
- 1Choose one clear photo: PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 10 MB.
- 2Describe one small movement, or leave the prompt empty for the default gentle motion.
- 3Wait for the result, play the whole clip, then download the video.
What makes a good photo-to-video candidate
The best source photo already implies a next moment. A face looking slightly off-camera can turn toward the lens. A landscape with water and clouds has natural motion. A product on a plain surface can rotate without revealing missing sides.
A flat group photo, a screenshot or a heavily filtered selfie gives the model less to work with. Those can still be tested, but expect the result to look like a moving filter rather than a filmed moment.
- One clear subject with visible edges.
- Natural light and enough facial detail.
- Something in the frame that can plausibly move.
Vertical, square, or landscape?
The free demo does not guarantee a selectable aspect ratio. If you need a specific 9:16 frame for TikTok or Reels, use the signed-in image-to-video tool, which exposes the supported formats. Planning the crop before generation is easier than fixing it afterwards.
For a website hero, a wider frame usually gives the subject room to move. For a phone-first clip, keep the subject centered and leave safe space at the top and bottom for platform UI.
- Decide the destination before choosing the crop.
- Keep the subject away from the extreme edges.
- Do not add captions inside the generated frame.
Motion recipes you can paste
Start with one movement. Change one instruction at a time so you can tell what improved the result.
Portrait to camera
The subject slowly turns toward the camera and blinks naturally. Keep the face, hair and clothing consistent. Fixed camera, soft window light, no new objects.
Landscape in motion
Clouds drift slowly and water ripples while the camera pushes in very gently. Keep the horizon straight and the buildings still. No people or vehicles.
Product preview
The product rotates slowly on a clean surface with studio lighting. Keep the shape, color and label geometry consistent. No hands, text changes or background clutter.
Memorial portrait
Add very slight breathing and one soft blink. Keep the original tone, grain and expression. Do not colorize, change clothing or invent new facial details.
Before you upload
The free demo is a public route. Your image goes to temporary public storage before it reaches the upstream model, so treat the upload as public. The signed-in generators are a separate route and require an account.
- Use only photos you have the right to share.
- Do not upload private family photos, IDs, or images of people who have not agreed.
- Keep the original file; the demo does not promise permanent storage.
What this page does not promise
Free access is best effort. Public GPU queues can be busy, paused, or out of quota, and a queue error is not a generated video.
- No guaranteed resolution, frame rate, or duration.
- No guarantee that a face, pet, or costume stays identical in every frame.
- No lip sync, accurate lettering, or editable project file.
- No refund of time spent waiting in a public queue.
Questions people ask before trying
How long is the video?
The free demo returns a short clip, but the exact duration is controlled by the upstream model and can vary. The paid generator shows its duration before you spend credits.
Can I choose 9:16?
The free demo does not expose a reliable aspect-ratio selector. Use the signed-in image-to-video tool when a vertical frame is required.
Does the video have audio?
The free animation demo focuses on motion. It does not provide a reliable audio track. Add music or voiceover in an editor after downloading.
Can I use the clip commercially?
Review the Terms of Service and the rights attached to your source image. You must also have permission from any person shown in the photo.
Try one photo before you pay for anything
The demo costs no credits and needs no account. When you need model choice, a vertical frame, or an HD export, continue to the signed-in tools.
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Monthly plans are optional and can be cancelled from billing settings.
